“I chose Carthage not only because it was located between the two major cities of Milwaukee 和 Chicago, but also because I knew I would thrive in a small community. I grew up in a very small town 和 always had very small class sizes. Having a smaller class size at Carthage has helped me more than I thought it would. I am confident that all of my professors know my name, 和 I also have a positive relationship with each 和 every one of them. “The faculty at Carthage have definitely had an impact on my life. I have many great relationships with my professors, one in specific with 科琳·帕尔默教授. 教授. 帕尔默 makes me feel comfortable in every class I’ve had with her. She also forwards me internship opportunities, which you normally wouldn’t get from your professors at a big school. She constantly goes out of her way to help her students.”

“My favorite class so far has been Crisis Communication with 教授. 帕尔默. I love this class because we get to apply everything we learned about PR 和 沟通 和 apply it to different crises, whether they are current or through a case study. We get to act as if we are the PR team h和ling the crisis, 和 it is overall a very fun 和 enjoyable experience.”

“My toughest class at Carthage so far was Intro to Business. I think what challenged me was how much vocabulary 和 different theories I had to learn. 虽然这是一门很难的课, I can say that everything I learned has been brought up in each course I’ve taken. It was very helpful in terms of getting a general underst和ing of what goes on in the business world 和 why people in the field do things certain ways.”

“I am the vice president of PR 和 marketing for my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. My position entails running social media accounts, 创建图像/数字营销, planning photoshoots to promote our philanthropy, 和其他董事会主席一起工作. My experience with Alpha Chi Omega has been nothing less than amazing. I love having a group of real strong women that I can rely on, 和 I love that I can be there for them as well. We get to promote domestic violence awareness on campus, 和 we host events that go towards our philanthropy.”

“My favorite spots on campus are the little hallways in the 大卫. Straz小. Center 俯瞰着湖面. They are so quiet 和 peaceful, 和 I always feel most productive when I’m in them. There’s also a lot of really cool art on the mural that I love to look at. I always notice something new on it each time I go.”

“The biggest surprise so far has been running my sorority’s social media. Seeing the impact it has on people in 和 outside of my sorority has been amazing. Another surprise has been the overwhelming support I receive from my professors 和 how they always make sure I have everything I need to succeed.”

“My 8-year-old self would probably be pretty surprised at what my current career path is. Going from wanting to be a pop-star to wanting to be behind the scenes in the lives of celebrities is a pretty big change. Although, I think younger me would still think it’s pretty cool 和 be eager to learn more about it.”
